Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure optimum uptime of foundry equipment including:
  • Induction Furnaces and its cooling system
  • Sand Plant Equipment like shake out, pneumatic conveying systems, sand cooler, Mechanical Reclamation System (MRS), Thermal Reclamation System (TRS)
  • Fast Loop Line Machines (Transfer cars, roll over, stripping device, powerized roller conveyors, mould curing oven, mould coating station, shake out, mould pusher)
  • Sand continuous mixers
  • Shot Blasting Machines
  • Dust Collection Systems
  • Screw Compressors
  • Material Handling Equipment like EOT cranes, Jib Cranes, Gantry / Goliath cranes, under slung cranes
  • Cooling Towers and Pumps
  • Fettling and grinding equipment like Flexible shaft grinders, Die grinders, pedestal grinders
  • HT & LT switch gears like VCB, ACB, MCCB, MCB, Contactors
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain maintenance history records and equipment performance data.

Breakdown Management

• Attend critical equipment breakdowns and restore equipment in minimum time.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
• Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities.

Utility & Infrastructure Maintenance

• Ensure reliable operation of utilities such as:
  • Electrical Distribution Systems
  • DG Sets
  • Air Compressors
  • Cooling Water Systems
