Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for SPM projects in alignment with engineering and project timelines.
• Lead make-or-buy decisions for SPM components and assemblies.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering and long-term sourcing plans.

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard qualified vendors for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct vendor performance reviews on quality, cost, delivery, and service (QCDS).

Technical & Project Coordination

• Work closely with Design, Engineering, Production, and Project teams to understand technical specifications and BOI & BOMs.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project milestones and Factory Acceptance Test(FAT) /Site Acceptance Test (SAT) schedules.
• Handle long-lead and critical items for SPM builds.

Operational Procurement

• Oversee RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, PO releases, and expediting.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, standards, and customer requirements.
• Resolve supply chain issues including delays, shortages, and quality deviations.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machines (SPM) - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems for Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
• Conceptual design and development of machines starting from initial requirements through to preliminary engineering layouts.
• Design and develop custom special purpose machines for material handling applications.
• Material selection for machine design based on application needs.
• Design calculations and selection of standard parts (bearings, pneumatic cylinders, electromechanical components, etc.).
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, Bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly documentation.

Job Summary:

Job Descriptions : 

Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Breakdown Maintenance (B/D) of shop floor equipment. 

Carry out PM and B/D maintenance of plant and utility systems. 

Maintain and update logbooks/checklists for DG, compressors, fire safety equipment, AC, UPS, diesel, and DM water consumption. 

Repair and maintain pump house, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). 

Follow organizational SHE policies and procedures during all maintenance activities. 

Execute daily maintenance tasks based on industry best practices and maintain breakdown reports, spare part records, and equipment history. 

Monitor and analyse Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). 

Work on continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. 

Perform preventive maintenance as per the defined schedule for plant and machinery.
