Key Responsibilities:

Project planning

• Participate in sales handover meetings to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Prepare Gantt charts for scheduling and planning projects
• Define long lead parts and establish timelines for engineering releases to meet dispatch and deadlines and assembly sequences.

Engineering and design coordination

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, Production, and Procurement to ensure smooth integration of vendors into new product development and existing production.
• Work closely with design team on engineering releases, focusing on long-lead and pre-release parts to assembly sequences.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams for ordering, ensuring ETA timelines.
• Coordinate with Stores team for stock allocation.

Manufacturing and Assembly

• Issue of job orders to assembly supervisors and material requisition notes. Monitor assembly hours, comparing actual Vs estimated hours with proper justifications for derivations.
• Ensure parts are available on time to avoid impacting assembly.
• Monitor assembly activities guide shop floor teams, and escalate issues to top management as needed.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, adherence to customer commitments , 5S activities and on-time dispatches.

Testing trials and Acceptance

• Verify completed assemblies with project coordinators, supervisors, and quality teams.

Electrical Design Engineer - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Prepare:
  • Control panel layouts
  • Wiring diagrams
  • GA drawings
  • Cable schedules
  • BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Work on industrial automation systems (PLC, VFD, Servo, Sensors, etc.)
• Selection of electrical components (MCCB, contactors, relays, drives, etc.)
• Coordinate with:
  • Mechanical team
  • Procurement team
  • Site/commissioning team
• Review and validate drawings before release
• Support troubleshooting during commissioning

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good understanding of:

• Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Jigs and fixtures, Machine Design and material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for SPM projects in alignment with engineering and project timelines.
• Lead make-or-buy decisions for SPM components and assemblies.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering and long-term sourcing plans.

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard qualified vendors for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct vendor performance reviews on quality, cost, delivery, and service (QCDS).

Technical & Project Coordination
